Why LEATHER by beth?

LEATHER by beth was founded in 2019 by two friends with very different backgrounds but a shared passion for good design. Together, they built a company that goes its own way — developing products in direct collaboration with the people who actually use them: hunters, dog handlers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The result is a Danish leather brand without compromises — driven by big dreams, strong visions, and full confidence in the future.

Designed from experience – made for dogs & hunting

Behind the brand stands Bettine Thorup, owner and creative force. With a lifetime of experience with dogs, hunting, breeding gun dogs, and international trials and exhibitions, she is the expert when it comes to functional, innovative solutions built for hard use.

She grew up with sustainable design values and Scandinavian simplicity — qualities reflected in every product: simple functionality, durability, and well-considered details.

Business expertise meets creativity

To allow Bettine to focus 100% on design and development, Jürgen stands by her side — an experienced businessman, graphic designer, and marketing specialist with many years in the design, retail, and online industries.

Together, they form a strong team that, in close dialogue with real hunters and dog people, develops products the market hasn’t seen before.
